Isolator and RCCB (Residual current circuit Breaker)

An isolator is a device used for isolating a circuit or equipment from a source of power. An isolator is a mechanical switching device that, in the open position, allows for isolation of the input and output of a device.

RCCB means Residual Current Circuit Breaker -- A residual currentcircuit breaker (RCCB), is an electrical wiring device thatdisconnects a circuit whenever it detects that the electriccurrent is not balanced between the phase ("hot") conductorand the neutral conductor. Such an imbalance is sometimescaused by current leakage through the body of a person whois grounded and accidentally touching the energized part ofthe circuit.
